Bristly Caterpillar Amendment

I am very happy to report that Dr. Dan Janzen confirmed my caterpillar’s identity this morning! It is indeed a member of the Automeris metzli species of the subfamily Hemileucinae. To celebrate, I uploaded a couple more pictures of my twilight visitor. Hope you like, what my sister Diana in Hamburg called ‘a perambulating fir twig’. It’s definitely Advent, right? Enjoy!
